The hype is REAL. If you haven't already, you have to check out these amazing visuals we have so far of the beautiful Galarian Gallery cards aka alt arts lite to be included in Crown Zenith. The official English set list is yet to be confirmed, hence why we have the Japanese versions of the cards shown, which are from the VSTAR Universe set releasing on December 2, 2022 in Japan.
Within the full set, Crown Zenith will feature 70 cards with special artwork in the Galarian Gallery. We expect most of these cards to make the set list, with a whole lot still missing from what we've included below. Regardless, it's going to be proper end to the Sword & Shield era! The first set of products for Crown Zenith will be releasing on January 20, 2023, with additional releases to follow.
Here's what we can 'potentially' look forward too so far . . .
Up first we have the Legendary Beast Trio. These Legendary Dogs from Gen 2 are no doubt some of the most popular Pokémon, and collectors have been eagerly waiting for alternate arts of the trio, especially Suicune.
One thing that's confirmed for sure is different set of trios. The Galarian Tins will feature the trio of the Legendary Birds in what else but their Galarian forms. Though these tins are in the third wave of products not releasing until March 17, 2023. Each of the tins will include one of the following promos.
Eeveelutions have seen a lot of love, especially in Sword & Shield, and even more so in Evolving Skies as well as their own Premium Collections for Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Now we have a pair of new Leafeon & Glaceon arts.
Deoxys seems to be getting extra love with a sick double feature.
Even more interesting, Zeraora also seems to be getting the double feature with both the VMAX and VSTAR just like Deoxys.
Another interesting choice is Lumineon, after already getting the alt art treatment recently in Brilliant Stars. But you can't argue that these water themed arts feature some great scenes. The set also features Manaphy and Bidoof; this set of 3 cards will likely see a lot of play in the TCG for the foreseeable future.
To follow that we have some equally pleasant nature scenes featuring Absol, Goodra, and Numel.
Of course, you can't have an alt art set of this caliber without hitting a few main themes. First a cute sleeping Pokémon scene, with the Mew being just perfect for that. And something food related, because for some reason Pokémon and food just makes it that much cuter. Add to that something super derpy, what more could you ask for.
Apparently a lot more...this Dunsparce isn't anything to sleep on either.
We also have one of community's favourite artists Asako Ito putting his well known style on Altaria. I'm personally calling this one Alt-aria.
Then we have Hatterene trying to look like Mew from the original Pokémon snap (IFKYK).
Speaking of Mew, you can't leave MewTWO out of the set. This brings a really awesome visual from the opposite perspective of the Charizard Promo featured in the Charizard UPC.
If you haven't had enough of Hisuian form's lately, this pair of Zoroark & Samurott look to be some of the coolest looking cards in the set, with similar type of style as the Giratina alt art from Lost Origin, though definitely nowhere near on the same level.
Coming to the end the list are of course some of the Trainers, also really great looking cards.
Last but not least let's wrap it up with Regigigas doing what seems to be like...brining it all home...
And that's all for now! Keep an eye out for more leaks or official info.
