Hey everyone! I’m thrilled to introduce you to an exciting new trading card game (TCG) in development: Altered! This game brings a unique twist by blending board game elements with traditional card gameplay. In Altered, your goal is to reunite with your spirit companion by embarking on thrilling expeditions. The game takes classic fantasy themes and adds a real-world twist, featuring heroes like Jeanne d’Arc.
Print on Demand & Wildcards
If you’re a fan of the wildcard systems in online TCGs, you’ll be delighted to know that Altered is the first physical TCG to incorporate this feature! Booster boxes contain a range of cards from common to legendary, ensuring you can always get your desired cards at an affordable price. You can then order these cards via mobile, individually, as a group, or through your local store. This flexibility allows you and your friends to control shipping costs and delivery times.
AR Integration
Every Altered card comes with a unique QR code. Scanning this code automatically updates your card collection, helping you sort and organize your cards digitally. Missing some cards? No problem! The deck builder feature will show you what you own and what you still need. It’s a dream come true for anyone with OCD tendencies like mine!

Stay tuned for more updates on Altered TCG, it’s shaping up to be a game-changer in the world of trading card games! So far we're very excited to be brining Altered to Top Shelf through a few different ways.
First, get an early chance to experience Altered hands on through the Roadshow Demo hosted at our store on July 19th & August 17th. We'll help you learn the game, you'll get an opportunity to play a few games, and you'll also receive an exclusive Altered Promo card. Be sure to register here to reserve a spot.
Although the official launch for Beyond the Gates is September 13th, we'll have starter decks available at an earlier date (to be determined) - so if you do pre-order a starter you can expect to get it well before release! And if you like to crack booster boxes, well those you'll have to wait for the official release. However with new product launches supply is always a big uncertainty, so it's always a good idea to pre-order!
