Enter the rougher side of the kingdom with Dominion: Dark Ages, the 7th expansion for the classic Dominion deck-building game from Rio Grande Games. Focused on trashing, upgrading, ruins, shelters, and making the best of difficult situations, Dark Ages gives Dominion players a deeper and more tactical expansion filled with strange cards, risky choices, and clever recovery strategies.

Dominion: Dark Ages adds 35 new Kingdom cards, along with Ruins, Shelters, Spoils, Madman, Mercenary, and other cards that enter play through specific effects. Instead of starting with Estates in certain setups, players can begin with Shelters like Hovel, Necropolis, and Overgrown Estate, changing the opening turns and giving the game a more desperate, gritty feel.

This expansion is especially built around trashing cards and getting value from cards that would normally be weak or unwanted. Some cards reward you when they are trashed, some cards care about what is in the trash, and others upgrade themselves or transform cards into stronger options. The result is a Dominion expansion where cleanup, sacrifice, timing, and card flow matter more than ever.

Dark Ages is a strong choice for experienced Dominion players who want more interaction, more unusual card effects, and a larger expansion with high replay value. It adds new tactical puzzles, rougher economies, and powerful card combinations for players who enjoy deck-building strategy, engine building, hand management, and creative kingdom setups.

This is an expansion and cannot be played by itself. A copy of Dominion, Dominion: Second Edition, or Dominion Base Cards is required to play.
