The Old King's Crown

The Old King's Crown is a game of card-driven conquest from Eerie Idol Games and designer Pablo Clark. You play as heirs to a vacant throne, vying for control of an ancient, overgrown kingdom across a map that stretches from the teetering heights of the castle to the dappled light of the necropolis.

Each round you move your Herald to stake an open claim on a location, then everyone plays cards face down to regions of the board at the same time. The cards are revealed and resolved, and winning a clash earns rewards and influence, the game's primary goal; whoever holds the most influence after a set number of rounds wins. Your Herald's claim may be real or a masked misdirection. It is a low-luck game of bidding, bluffing, hand management, card combos, engine building, unique player powers and area control, with a fully featured solo mode.
