The Undead Queen waits in the depths of the Dark Castle, raising corpses, skeletons, and spirits to trap prisoners in eternal undeath. Players must survive new castle locations, face new threats, and work together to overcome the Queen’s undead forces before confronting her in a final battle.

Scourge of the Undead Queen introduces Companions, a new mechanic that brings temporary allies into the quest. These characters enter play through event cards and can assist the prisoners during their escape. Each Companion has its own traits, die, and special ability, giving the group new tactical options during combat, challenges, and dangerous chapters.

This Adventure Pack can be played as a standalone themed adventure using its own chapter cards and boss, or mixed into the Escape the Dark Castle base game and other expansions for greater replayability.
