Guillotine

A light, fast card game with an irreverent French Revolution theme, Guillotine rewards clever timing, line manipulation, and set collection for an easy to teach, highly replayable experience for two to five players.

Players draw and play Action cards to rearrange a public queue of Nobles, then claim the noble at the front to build points, avoid penalties, and trigger unique effects such as ending the day when Robespierre appears. Play proceeds over three days, and the highest total wins. Ages 12 and up, average playtime about 30 minutes.
