In Nova Era, each player takes charge as the ruler of a growing civilization. Your goal is to develop the most prosperous society by making smart decisions, building your engine, expanding your influence, and balancing growth against instability. Every choice can push your civilization forward, but disasters, unrest, and poor planning can send your people into a Dark Age.

The game combines action drafting, tech trees, dice selection, resource management, and civilization development in a format that is easier to approach than many heavier civilization games. Players must decide how to use their dice, when to pursue technologies, which personalities to enlist, and how much risk they are willing to take as global disasters and social pressure build.
