Dark Souls: The Board Game - Painted World of Ariamis is a standalone cooperative core set from Steamforged Games. Trapped in the icy depths of a painted snowscape, the souls loathed by gods have made their cage a sanctuary, ruled by Priscilla the Crossbreed. It plays on its own, or combines with Dark Souls: The Board Game.

You take control of the Mercenary, the Sorcerer or the Deprived and work together through a series of chilling, inhospitable encounters, learning your enemies' attack patterns and weaknesses, before an epic boss battle against Crossbreed Priscilla herself. A fallen character does not end the game, but it has a cost: if one of you dies, the whole party returns to the bonfire and the encounter resets.
