The Baneblade is armed with a Baneblade cannon and coaxial autocannon in its turret, a forward-mounted demolisher cannon, two lascannons, twin heavy bolters, two sponson-mounted twin heavy flamers, and a turret-mounted heavy stubber. The twin heavy flamers can alternatively be replaced with two additional twin heavy bolters.

The kit also provides extensive modelling options, including additional armour plating, stowage, tow hooks, fuel, and multiple choices for gunners and tank commanders. The commander can instead be built on foot with several weapon and pose options.

This versatile kit can alternatively be assembled as one of seven other Astra Militarum super-heavy tanks: Banesword, Shadowsword, Doomhammer, Stormsword, Banehammer, Stormlord, or Hellhammer.
